Effective 11 October 2026 · Operator: HS Solution (Republic of Korea) · Applies to extension version 0.2.1 and to this product page
In short. The extension collects no data and makes no network requests. What it saves stays in your browser on your device, and is removed when you remove the extension. Separately, this product web page counts visits and button presses, as described in section 6.
Nothing. We run no server for the extension. It contains no analytics and no remote code, and it never sends anything anywhere. We cannot see your folders, your chat titles or your conversations.
Only the following, in chrome.storage.local:
/chat/<id> part of the address), its title as shown in the sidebar, and the time you added it;This data is not synced between devices and never leaves the browser.
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
storage | Saves your folders in chrome.storage.local, on this device only. |
Host access to https://claude.ai/* | Lets the extension draw the Folders section on that site. It runs nowhere else. |
Nothing else is requested: no tabs, no history, no cookies, no downloads, no background worker. Exports are saved with an ordinary download link created on the page.
Pressing I'm interested in the extension's Pro panel opens our product page (devjar.dev/lab/chat-folders/) in a new tab. The address carries only the fixed markers interest=pro and utm_source=extension. No data about your chats or folders is attached. If you never press the button, nothing is opened.
The product page at devjar.dev/lab/chat-folders/ is a normal web page, separate from the extension. When it is opened, and when the install button or the I'm interested button on it is pressed, the page sends one small request to our own server at devjar.dev. That request contains:
chat-folders);view, click_install or click_buy (the last one means "pressed I'm interested"; there is no purchase);?interest=pro&utm_source=extension).Like any web server, ours also writes an access log line for each request: the time, the address requested, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. We use these to count visits, to estimate how many different visitors there were (by IP address), to see which sites send visitors, and to leave out automated traffic. Requests reach our server through Cloudflare, which acts as our network provider.
The page sets no cookies, shows no ads and loads nothing from third parties. It keeps one flag in your browser's sessionStorage so that your interest is not counted twice; that flag stays in your browser and is cleared when the tab's session ends. The page has no form and asks for no name or email.
We use the IP address only to count different visitors and to leave out automated traffic. We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell this information or share it with third parties. To have log lines removed, write to the address below (see section 7).
If the extension starts handling anything not described here, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the effective date above will change.
